Description:
MPX CAPACITORS are constructed with metalied polypropylene film dielectric, copper-ply lead, encapsulated in plastic cash with epoxy resin sealed. They provide interference Suppression with safety approvals of EN 132400, IEC 384-14-14-II, (UL,CSA=250 VAC) file No E 120045 and VDE 0565-1 class X2(275 VAC) file No 15031-4670-1002.
THE TYPE-MPX CAPACITORS ARE IDEAL FOR USING
Line-By-Pass, Antenna coupling, Across-The-line and (Spark) killer circuits and available for EMI filter and switching power supply application

1. OPERATING TEMPERATUE RANGE: -40℃~+100℃ F2
2. CAPACITANCE RANGE: .01~1Uf
3. CAPACITANCE TOLERANCE: J=±5%, K=±10%, M=±20%
4. RATED VOLTAGE: 250VAC/275VAC,50Hz-60Hz
5. DISSIPATION FACTOR: 0.1% MAX. When measured at 1KHz, 25℃
6. INSULATION RESISTANCE(IR): Measured after a charging voltage 100±15VDC for 1 minute.
i) If C ≦.33uF, IR≧15,000MΩ
ii) If C ≧.33uF, IR≧5,000MΩ•uF.
7. DIELECTRIC STRENGTH TEST: Applied 1185 VDC for 1 minute or 2000 VDC FOR 1 second.
8. HUMIDITY-TEST: Shall withstand the test of RH 95% at 40℃ for 21 days. After the test, the capacitance drift ≦5%, IR ≧50% of specified value.
9. LIFE TEST: The test voltage 313 VAC shall be applied for 1008 hours in the +85℃ chamber. During this period, 1000VAC 60Hz for a period of 0.1 sec be applied once each hour. After the test, the capacitor must meet the following limits:
(A) Capacitance drift ≦10% of the initial value.
(B) Insulation resistance ≧ 50% of specified value.
10. LEAD PULL TEST: Shall withstand a steady pull of 4kgs applied axially for 10 seconds.
11. LEAD BEND TEST: The test consists of attaching a load of 1kg to the capacitor 90º form the direction of lead egress, the 180º in opposite direction and back to starting point. The lead shall sustain two cycles without breaking
12. MARKING: Must be legible corrct and consists of capacitance tolerance, rated voltage, type designation climatic category, manufacturer’s trade mark “CARLI”, date code and recognition marks.
