Company Profile     SONJIU is an Own Brand Manufacturer (OBM) based in Taiwan. SONJIU has an established specialty in manufacturing components such as Tantalum Electrolytic Capacitors for the Unites States, France and Japan. Our manufacturing facilities are ISO 9002 compliant. Our technology well surpasses IEC and SGS standards. All of our productsare also ROHS compliant. Our products can be applied widely to consumer products such as mobile phones, portable computers, digital cameras, camcorders, automobile electronics, telephony switching systems, televisions as well as civil or industrial applications such as drilling, testing instruments and meters. History     May of 2003 The Sonjiu name is founded! SJ established in Kaohsiung County to provide electronic capacitors and resisters. October of 2003 Company joint ventures with large manufacturing facility to provide innovative products and design and service capabilities. Sonjiu brand name and logo is created! April of 2004 SONJIU is approved for use by the Electronic Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Science. April of 2005 In order to respond to environmental movement, Sonjiu products are authenticated by SGS to be ROHS compliant. All components are compliant prior to the European Union July 2007 deadline. Obtain EXCELLENT COMPANY AWARD from the Kaohsiung Chamber of Industry for good performance in manufacturing. April of 2005 Expanded facility in Mituo township of Kaohsiung county to better serve our customers. September of 2006 Established cooperative relationship with research and related special products at the University of Science and Technology of Kaohsiung. Launched a B2B strategy for small and medium sized enterprises in Taiwan. Established cooperative relationships with the China Productivity Center, China Foreign Trade Association. Also launched international brand development plan. Established distribution in China and India. November of 2006 SJ General Manager, Ching-li Lee awarded the Outstanding Marketing Manager’s award. March of 2007 New SJ website launched! April of 2007 SJ won the EXCELLENT COMPANY AWARD again from the Kaohsiung Chamber of Industry for good performance in manufacturing.
